Our Story

Born from a 30-Second Task That Took 10 Minutes

In 2023, our founding team — a mix of UI designers, front-end engineers, and accessibility consultants — were collaborating on a dark mode redesign. One designer needed to invert an icon set. Simple task.

Except it wasn't. The first tool uploaded the file to an unknown server. The second asked for an account. The third crashed on a 2MB PNG. The fourth had more ads than pixels.

We looked at each other and said: "Why doesn't a good version of this exist?"

Every image is processed pixel-by-pixel using the native Canvas API in your browser. We read the image data, apply the inversion formula (255 − R, 255 − G, 255 − B), and write the result back — all in-memory, all on your device.

There is no API endpoint for file uploads on our infrastructure. This isn't a toggle we can switch — it's a fundamental design decision. Your files are processed by JavaScript running in your browser's sandboxed environment.
